If you use issue.XXX placeholders (issue.summary, issue.description, ...), the generic formatter of Jira is used, and it may add some HTML formatting around your field's value. If you want to use this placeholder but do not want HTML formatting, you can add the |markup=no at the end of the placeholder. It will remove Jira's formatting. Ex: [issue.summary|markup=no] But we strongly discourage this. Where possible, use the specialized placeholder (instead of issue.summary, use summary). Specialized placeholders have their own specific formatter, which will always provide a correct output. |
Canned Texts
The Canned texts administration screens allows you to
- create any number of canned answers groups (or categories)
- Add any number of canned answers, and associate them to a group (or to the global category - default)
To Add a canned texts group, simply click the Add Canned Text Group button, and in the pop up opening, enter the name of your group :
Under the groups, you can find the list of canned texts, with the group they belong to.
You can add a new one, and assign a category to it, by clicking the Add Canned Text button :
Either select a group (or leave the Global group), and enter your text. Hit save and it's available to any template using its group of canned texts.
